DATA INC. Golf Outing
Continued from the January 2008 Newsletter.
During sun-rise registration all golfers and guests were introduced to FIRST by watching FIRST Robotics Team #75 from Hillsborough High School - The RoboRaiders - demonstrate the many maneuvers of its well-built robot. Following breakfast, the developing warm and sun-filled day saw foursomes having a memorable round of golf on a beautiful course.
By early afternoon golfers were completing the 18 holes and preparing to move on to their luncheon that included golfing awards for the most skilled - or the luckiest! During the lunch recently appointed FIRST Regional Director Donald Bowers made a presentation to all about FIRST and our NYC/NJ regional efforts. The day concluded with brief remarks from DATA INC. CEO Arun Verma thanking everyone for coming . . . and a good time was had by all!
